CLAREMORE REGIONAL AIR SHOW
Saturday, June 11th, 2016 ​

What is the Claremore Regional Airshow: Bring the whole family to come experience breathtaking aerobatic demonstrations from a number of Vintage, High Performance, and Military Aircraft.  Static displays, helicopter rides, booths, concessions, and food trucks will all be on sight.

Details:
     Date: Saturday, June 11th, 2016
     Location: 19502 E. Rogers Post Rd. Claremore, OK 
     Time: Gates at 10am; Show time 11:30am-2:30pm
     Admission: Free
     Parking: Free

Directions: From Claremore, head east on Highway 20 towards Pryor to County Rd 4230 and turn South. Proceed 3/4 Mile to the airport entrance road located to the West. Vehicles will be directed to parking areas.

Randy Harris

Randy Harris is the demonstration pilot for Bearfeat Aerobatics. He performs in a 300 HP biplane called the Skybolt 300. He invented several original maneuvers with the Skybolt 300 including the HammerSlide, GroverOver and Happy Puppy Pass.

Kate Kyer

Kate loves performing in her Pitts S-2B and sharing her love of aerobatic flight with audiences of all ages! With over 15,000 hours of flight time, Kate has performed in air shows and aerobatic competitions for over 18 years.

Col. Dave Leedom

Leedom is the former commander of the 93rd BS and B-52 pilot, He is now the Reserve Advisor to the 8th Air Force Commander at Barksdale. He flies a single engine RV-8 that can reach speeds of 195 mph.

Justin Lewis

Justin started flying at age 14, and received his pilot’s license at 17. He pilots the FLS Microjet, a high performance, aerobatic, single seat, low-wing, all metal, jet-powered aircraft built from an amateur home builder kit.

Oklahoma National Guard

The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) for the United States Air force (ASAF). Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. Over 4,500 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976. Expect to see the Oklahoma Air National Guard flyover the airshow in this beauty.

American Turf Flyers

ATF is a charter club (#1599) of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. They were organized in 1981. In the fall of 1990, they moved to their current home, ten acres of farmland east of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Fitzgerald Field (named after the club president at the time the land was purchased) is located eight miles east of County Line Road in Broken Arrow. The ATF represents the model plane community and will be kicking off the show with a performance at 11:30 a.m.

Skydive Airtight

Skydive Airtight is a USPA Group Member Skydiving facility and located 15 miles north of Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Skiatook Municipal Airport. They offer three types of training for first time jumpers. They also use modern state of the art parachute equipment. Skydive Airtight is privately owned and has been in operation at the Skiatook Municipal Airport since its beginning in 1999. Opening the show with, they will also have a booth on-sight to assist in scheduling jumps!
